eighteen twenty Brings Home to Maine Two Silvers and a Bronze

We are very excited to tell you that the American Wine Society is sending some bling to Maine! We got word last weekend that THREE of our wines won medals at the annual Commercial Wine Competition.

Along with the medals, each wine was also scored on an 100-point based score.

Here is how we faired:

• bloom, Silver, 90 points

• victoria, Silver, 89 points

• fête, Bronze, 87 points

The staff at the American Wine Society said it has been at least five years since Maine has medaled in their commercial competition! Willow’s Awake Winery also won for two of their red wines.

I want to specifically call out all of the impressive work Alex has done taking our wines to the next level. He definitely took an art and added the perfect amount of science. We are proud of our wines, they are consistent, well-balanced, and now… award winning. Thank you, Alex!

We are really excited about this recognition. Sometimes you are just shuffling on and trying to make each day work. Having an outside organization say ‘HEY! You are doing something really cool over there!’ helps a lot.
